WHITE LIGHT HEALING CENTRE Founded by Cathy Bouwer, a passionate and inspirational healer who has overcome huge personal loss to live a full and beautiful life; The White Light Healing Foundation aims to develop physical, mental, psychological and emotional wellbeing whilst helping to increase efficiency and productivity for all. Chantal is the Director of White Light Healing and runs the Gauteng Centre. She is involved in the designing, creating and facilitating of various Workshops. Her background includes Reiki, Cheirology (Hand Analysis), Crystal Healing and basic Hypnotherapy. For Private Consultations she is kept most busy doing Bach Remedy Therapy and Biofeedback Therapy using the SCIO machine. In 2003, Cathy witnessed her father’s struggle with death as he was hit by a 7-ton truck over a Johannesburg highway. As she gave him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and waited for the ambulances to arrive, she prayed and pleaded for his life. Nearly every bone from his waist up was broken, yet against all odds he survived - her prayers were answered. Just two years later, Cathy was faced by the death of her husband Craig who was executed during a court case. A discerning lawyer, Craig was murdered by the husband of a client. Cathy was called to the scene to find his body cold and blue on the steps of the Johannesburg High Court. Left with two sons aged just three and five, Cathy’s life was shattered beyond repair (or so she felt) but she realised that she was still responsible to be the best parent she could be. To help process the grief, anger, pain and disillusionment; Cathy turned to spiritual healing which assisted her to start loving life again. After many years of studying and enjoying the benefits, Cathy began to focus her development on nurturing her own intuitive abilities. This led her to realise her “calling in life” was to help others, Love there life they live and to live a life of love. Travelling between both Cape Town and Johannesburg, Cathy encourages her clients to begin a journey of enlightenment and start to " Love the Life you Live". She endeavors to facilitate greater prosperity and harmony for Mind, Body and Spirit. |

March 5: Cooper's Cave picnicMaropeng and iHominin are offering budding palaeontologists a rare opportunity to explore a 1.5-million-year-old fossil site. Cooper’s Cave, 1.2km from the famous Sterkfontein Caves near Johannesburg, is a relatively newly discovered fossil site, where several species of animals and a number of stone tools have been found. Maropeng is happy to announce that we will be hosting our popular Swartkrans Walking Tours again in 2011. Swartkrans, one of the Cradle’s richest fossil sites, is usually closed to the public. But on these tours, small groups will have a rare opportunity to observe an active palaeontological dig and will be guided around the site by scientist Morris Sutton, who is currently excavating there. MAGALIESBURG CANOPY TOURS The MAGALIESBERG CANOPY TOUR is a unique eco-adventure that takes clients on a 2,5 hour tour down the spectacular Ysterhout Kloof, set in the ancient Magaliesberg Mountains. Eleven platforms have been built against the cliffs and rock faces of the kloof and are joined by long steel cables that clients slide along to reach the next platform. Much like a "foefie" slide, the canopy tour essentially involves zigzagging down the kloof while stopping at each platform to admire the expansive views and surrounding ecology.
